1. Feb 01,  · Despite a decent pre-amp, amp set up, I don't always think Dinosaur Jr sounds best on vinyl. These, however, sound really good. I cleaned all my albums, but there is definitely crackle when the needle drops and between songs, as well as on the quieter acoustic tunes/5(60).

3. Listening to Where You Been now, unbound by the cultural baggage that surrounded it at the time it was released, one thing is clear: this is just a GREAT rock album? Is it the best Dinosaur Jr album? No. That distinction goes to You're Living All Over Me. But if you dig rock music, and especially if you play guitar, this album is a no-brainer/5(85).

7. But I have to admit, when I read some of the reviews for this pink vinyl variant of Dinosaur Jr's "Where You Been", I was intrigued yet skeptical. Curiosity got the best of me, and I ordered it. Well, the hype is true for this pressing/5(7).
